Happy Fall Y’all! I don’t know about the rest of you, but we had a few blissfully beautiful days this week that truly felt like fall. And then, in true Texas fashion, it was in the 90’s by the weekend just in time for us to sweat through a football game. I cannot wait for the temps to completely drop and we can enjoy our fall beers outside in a hoodie.
We’re getting our fall drink on, even if the weather isn’t quite where we want it. A mid-week migraine set me back, but we still enjoyed some solid brews this week.

NERDS, this is one helluva a beer. Turning Point is really great at these special release, bottled stouts. This one is aged in bourbon barrels for 12 months. It is a delightful drink to enjoy with the nerd you love.

Honestly. this gose was a little on the subtle side. The guava is a bit under played, but you definitely taste the sea salt. It’s a nice beer as summer digs in trying to stay with us.

Holy crap, nerds. THIS BEER. What can I say about this beer other than, LOOK AT THE COLOR. It was green apple deliciousness and looked like something straight out of Ghostbusters.
I still can’t get over that drink…or the fact that we still have 3 more in the fridge. Can’t wait to enjoy it again.
